My Opinion
“Goodness can hide amongst the bad, just as evil can wrap itself in righteousness.”
(4.5 / 5) As I first started reading, I remembered how much I love her writing. It’s the little descriptions and the wording that captures me, having me get cozy, knowing I’m in for the long haul. It’s easy to get wrapped up in her story and the characters. They have became favorites of mine and I couldn’t wait to get back to them. I read Ledge last year and really liked it. There was a small part in the end that surprised me that I was unsure about. However, reading about it in book 2, I don’t know how I wasn’t!
Dawsyn is grieving and angry at the half-Glacian Ryon’s death. Through that anger, she fuels her efforts into saving those from the Ledge. She finds new friends along the way and our old favorites join again. There were many times I’d gasp out loud or cover my mouth in surprise at events that were happening. It was never short on adventure!
I don’t want to give too much away since it’s book 2 but I have thoroughly enjoyed these books and can’t wait until book 3!
