My Opinion

4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5) I am not one who usually likes ghost stories, but this author wrote a book earlier this year that I gave five stars. So of course I had to read it!

This had a completely different feel than her other book but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I love the characters, the ghost mystery was explained in a way that didn’t make me dismiss it. I don’t know how because normally ghost stories are hard for me to believe but this was definitely more realistic!

AUDIO REVIEW: I swear the audio made this more creepy! The noises that she made? (not gonna give it away) Ok those really gave me the shivers. She did a great job jumping back and forth between voices and keeping the atmosphere just suspenseful enough to be creepy.

General content summary: F words= 16, partial drowning, physical and mental abuse (previous, injuries, forced pills, forced pictures), ghost (intense moments, sounds of drowning), f/f attraction and kisses with partial clothes on, alcohol (underage), prescription pill abuse, homophobia, possession, relationship physical abuse, drowning.

Thank you to PRH Audio for the ALC copy!
