My Opinion

3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)  The constant ups and downs of this woman’s love life was a bit tiresome. She struggled through love like so many, but I feel it was mostly her fault. I wanted her to be strong and confident but life was difficult for her. I wished she would stand up for herself and not let others decide her fate. She was easily manipulated and that broke my heart. I wanted to strangle her multiple times! It was hard to relate to her because of this. I did not connect with her like I wanted to. I also feel I have probably been married too long and married too young to fully appreciate the trials Hollyn went through.

Elle had me guessing until the very end. I honestly didn’t know what would happen. How it ended was great and I really liked the realism of it.
This was a story of self discovery and love but not the love you’re probably imagining. I admire the place she was able to get, physically and emotionally, by the end.

The content has language and detailed sex. There were F words and casual cursing and detailed sex for a woman with a man and a woman with a woman. I’d recommend this book for people who love romance and self discovery stories.
Thank you Kay Elle for the opportunity to read your book in exchange for an honest review.
