A young woman is taking pills for anxiety. 

People smoke cigarettes on the streets of New York.

While out with his young daughter, a father lets her sip wine. 

Baseball players play for beers, win or lose. One young man opens a beer and it foams all over.  A young woman takes a long sip then belches. They take a few more swigs. 

Wine is served at a dinner and offered to 19 year olds. They decline. 

A son buys his father his prescription drugs but the the father hides them and stashes them as to not take them. 

A woman pours herself some wine. Refills it later and pours some for a 19 year old. 

Intimacy, Sex, Immodesty

Two young men sneak into a dressing room and “steal kisses.” They also kiss atop a bridge. 

A young boy thinks his male cousin is good looking and admires his features. He gets a “tickling feeling” when he does. During a dream, he imagines rubbing Aladdin’s bare chest and snuggling up next to him. Aladdin turns into his cousin and he gets a tingling over his whole body with a throbbing between his legs. He then knows, “there was something very wrong” with him. 

One man tells another man he’s going to kiss him.

Two men have sex in different corners of Central Park and in a bathroom “we had explored the hidden reaches of each other’s bodies.” Those encounters were, “fast and furtive: shirts yanked up, zippers yanked down, the important bits exposed.”  In a hotel room they kiss, and take off shirts. “You wanna f—-?” Then took off his pants and shrugged down the other man’s. 

An older man who is a doctor, hits on a much younger woman who is maybe 18 years old.

A young woman and young man sleep together (no details), then the guy calls his boyfriend. 

A young man puts his arms around a young woman trying to teach her to bat. He asks her to open her legs (to change her stance), and she jokes that guys usually buy her dinner first. His “boner” is immediate and he has to move away from her so she can’t feel it.  He wants to take her into the bushes, rip her clothes off and press close. 

A young man licks his fingers and a young woman, “thinks ten thousand dirty thoughts about what she’d like to do to and with those fingers.”

A man kisses a woman. He twines his fingers in her hair, she holds his hips. His tongue on her neck, her lips on his throat. He gets an erection and someone walks in and notices it. 

A man tells his boyfriend to go be with others to make sure he is truly in love. Then tells him to be safe because he doesn’t want to contract some nasty STD. They then have sex in the bushes at the park.

A young man is hit in the eye with a branch, it bleeds a lot, dripping down his face and getting swollen and infected before he gets it looked at. He has to have surgery to remove it. 

A young woman cuts her foot and it bleeds, staining her jeans. 

Two teens sneak into an office to steal and delete computer files. 

Potentially Intense Themes

A father leaves his family and doesn’t return. 

A grandma gets diagnosed with lung cancer. She dies slowly with her family nearby. 

A man is kicked out of his house for being gay. 

A man comes out to his family. They are very upset and crying. 

A young man finds his father lying dead on the kitchen floor. Suicide is debated.

A man plans to jump off a bridge to kill himself.
