My Opinion

3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5) Gabe and Pippa take a huge leap and buy a small place on top of a beautiful hillside cliff. What seemed idealistic at first quickly becomes a burden when multiple people are found trying to end their lives from jumping off this cliff. Gabe takes it upon himself to talk them away and get them the help they need. Until one night, a woman jumps and everything changes.

Told from multiple perspectives, we get all angles of this story. My favorite angle was the woman who had died. Seeing her put the pieces together along with others was so unique and interesting. There were two timelines that met up well at the end with deceit and many revelations.

I was entertained but I definitely wasn’t wowed. The twist was good but not enough to make my jaw drop. It was a fun read and I’d recommend this to those who love domestic thrillers.

AUDIO REVIEW: The two narrators did a great job evoking mystery and suspicion. I appreciated the multiple narrators to keep track of the story better. The chapter headings were important to pay attention to (timeline, POV) and the narrators definitely helped with that.
